4. Data on equipment we receive

Equipment we collect may contain data belonging to our clients or other people. This is not data we collect through our website. We do not access or use it. It is securely wiped or physically destroyed as part of our service, and it is handled under separate agreements with our clients, which set out the responsibilities of each party.

5. Who we share your data with

We only share personal data where necessary, with:

  • Authorities — where we are required by law, or to protect our rights

Our service providers may only use your data on our instructions or as allowed by law. Google may also act as an independent controller for some advertising data. 6. International transfers

Some of our providers (including Google, Cloudflare and Base44) may process personal data outside the UK, for example in the European Economic Area, the United States or other countries. Where this happens, we make sure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as:

  • UK adequacy regulations (countries the UK recognises as providing adequate protection, including the UK-US "Data Bridge" for certified US companies); or
  • the ICO's International Data Transfer Agreement (IDTA) or the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
