How much does AV decommissioning cost?

Often less than you'd expect. Many AV assets, especially recent displays and video conferencing systems, have resale value. Unless the equipment is very old, we'll often pay for it, and that value offsets the cost of the decommissioning. There are no fixed prices because every site is different, but quotes are free and no-obligation.

What AV equipment do you decommission?

Can I sell my used AV equipment?

Often, yes. Many AV assets keep residual value. We assess the equipment and can buy it outright or offset its value against the decommissioning cost. See Asset Purchasing.

How do you dispose of old projectors and interactive whiteboards?

We remove them along with their mounts and cabling, then reuse or resell what still works. Everything else is recycled through WEEE-compliant routes.

Can you work outside business hours?

Yes. We offer flexible scheduling, including evenings and weekends, to minimise disruption to your organisation.

Do you remove cabling and make good?

We remove all associated cabling and infrastructure. If making good is required, we can discuss it as part of a wider dilapidations or clearance package.

Is old AV equipment classed as WEEE?

Yes. Electrical and electronic equipment becomes waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) once you decide to discard it, so it must be handled through authorised routes. As a registered waste carrier, we make sure anything that can't be reused is recycled compliantly.
